During CrossFit classes, a trainer designs a new Workout of the Day (WOD) each day. Although they are never the same, WODs may incorporate moves from CrossFit’s arsenal of fat-burning exercises that includes body-weight exercise, rowing, weightlifting, cardio, kettlebell training, and unconventional moves such as tire flipping, rope climbing, and gymnastics. Each Workout of the Day (WOD) is different and pulls moves from a cache of exercises that includes rowing, cardio, strength training, weightlifting, and gymnastics. It’s rare to find kettlebells and medicine balls laying around CrossFit Jolt, because the athletes are regularly wielding these objects as they hurl them through the air or use them to add an extra degree of difficulty to squats, presses, and lunges. Other times, CrossFit disciples might be performing body-weight exercises such as chin-ups and pushups. All classes are carried out under the strict supervision of a CrossFit Level 1 certified coach to ensure participants maintain proper form and technique.
