Any CrossFit workout follows a six-word mission statement: constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement. At CrossFit Kaiju, certified coaches adhere to this mantra by offering a new Workout of the Day to challenge visitors of all ages and abilities. By using functional movements—that is, things you might need in your everyday life, such as pulling (out a couch), lifting (all the couch cushions), and squatting (to pick up all that change)—CrossFit classes help build speed, strength, and endurance that offer benefits long after you leave the gym.
In addition to CrossFit classes, the gym offers more specialized workouts—Kaiju endurance (focusing on running, rowing and body weight movements to build wherewithal), Kaiju mobility (mixing group and individual exercises to improve flexibility and ease of motion), Kaiju gymnastics (concentrating on body weight movements and control), and Kaiju barbel (centering on olympic and power lifting).
