- $59 for four weeks of CrossFit Fundamentals classes and two weeks of advanced CrossFit classes (a $329 value)
Students meet up to three times per week for CrossFit Fundamentals classes. During each session, instructors familiarize students with new and foundational CrossFit skills and movements while demonstrating how to lift weights safely and efficiently without driving a forklift into the gym. After completing the CrossFit Fundamentals course, students can attend an unlimited number of regular CrossFit classes for two weeks. During these sessions, instructors lead high-intensity routines that combine gymnastics, weightlifting, sprinting, and jumping. See the full schedule.
Faction Strength and Conditioning
Faction Strength and Conditioning is a CrossFit gym, which means exercisers gather regularly for intense, rigorous workouts that change up every day. Most opt for the regular WOD, or "workout of the day" CrossFit sessions, which might incorporate anything from pull-ups to powerlifting to sprinting, but competitive athletes can train in Competitor and Weightlifting sessions.
Though the gym is characterized by tough, discipline-building routines, coaches make sure everyone feels welcome. Memberships start with two free weeks of Fundamentals class, which acclimates newbies to CrossFit's unique challenges and imparts safety principles. And on the gym's FAQ page, the question "Do I need to be in good shape before I start CrossFit?" is answered with a "Psssh…NO!"
