About The Beginner Program at CrossFit NYC
CrossFit NYC is one of the largest CrossFit affiliates in New York, running over 300 classes per week.
CrossFit NYC offers a beginner program for new members. The program starts with a four-class Fundamentals sequence that teaches the basics of CrossFit in small classes (typically four to eight people). After Fundamentals, new members usually spend a year or more taking Beginner classes. There are over 200 beginner classes each week, including classes tailored for endurance, olympic lifting, functional strength, and mobility.
At CrossFit NYC, experienced coaches are dedicated to teaching members to move safely and efficiently. They plan all classes to guarantee thoughtful workouts that encourage progress and minimize the chance of injury.
