Working out is number three on the list of most popular daily activities in America, behind not working out and teaching dogs to swear. Spend your time wisely with today's Groupon: for $55, you get an eight-class punch card and three Foundations classes at CrossFit Regina (a $270 value).
CrossFit Regina welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels to CrossFit, a total-body-conditioning program favoured by many professional athletes, police academies, and military-operations units. During three 90-minute Foundations classes, trainers educate fitness fledglings on basic nutrition, cardio, Olympic weight training, and calisthenics. Each class ends in a 10-minute workout in which trainers help students form proper workout technique and prevent discouraged limbs from dropping out to pursue folk music careers. Other offerings include the CrossFit Mamas workout, during which parents take turns exercising and watching one another's children, and team workout classes that have trainers work out bodies in groups of up to four. During daily classes, students torch calories by performing varied exercises using diverse equipment such as weights, hammers, tires, and flaming gladiatorial tridents.
