A change was in order when Tyler Lord, founder of HIPFIT Studios Inc., received his CrossFit Level 1 certification. The biggest change (figuratively speaking, for Lord also added a new 24-foot workout rig) was adding CrossFit training methods to HIPFIT. CrossFit workouts involve constant, varied, and functional movements executed at high intensity, and is set to a time clock for motivation. During the group workouts, which build a sense of teamwork, the daily sequence of exercises, which usually consists of functional movements such as power lifts, tire flips, and pull-ups, can be suited to fit nearly any fitness level.
