####Q&A with Darin Moon, Owner/instructor Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
At Crossfit Thrive we are focused on great coaching and building a strong community. We try to give all athletes a good foundation by taking them through our 6 day foundations class. Through this they will learn proper technique and form with little to no weight. We will slowly increase intensity so that they see results quickly. Everyone has a really good understanding of what Crossfit is before they join the larger group. After that we keep them engaged though community connection. Everyone works hard and pushes each other. People invest in each others goals. We provide many community events and push for athletes to connect outside of the gym. Thrive is a family we all work and play hard. Its an awesome place to be. On the yoga side its a place for people to clear there minds of the day kick back and relax there mind. Sweating to the oldies is acceptable, but sweating to the blues less so. Do you find that certain styles and genres of music generate more intense workouts?
We definitely keep the gym music pumping all evening anything up beat and laud. Not counting head banger scream music. Lots of Rap new school and old school hip hop. Alternative and sometime we mix it up with some 80's rock. things are at a slower pace for our yoga studio. When and how did you first develop a passion for fitness?
My passion for fitness developed with my passion to see others live happier healthier lives. I love being around people and creating a safe environment where people can connect and forget about life and the stress that comes with it. For an hour a day these people kick back and have a good time. Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
As I said before we have a big passion for helping others grow and feel heathy about themselves. We try to provide that with both our yoga and Crossfit gym.
