Metabolic conditioning workouts are called MetCons for short, and are an ideal introduction to CrossFit classes. The workouts feature the constantly-varied, high-intensity functional movements of CrossFit classes, but are scalable and suited for all level of fitness. Sessions combine strength training exercises and anaerobic conditioning, are often timed, and feature circuits consisting of 2–6 exercises performed in multiple rounds, with very little rest. CrossFit Veni Vidi Vici
At CrossFit Veni Vidi Vici, teams of highly qualified trainers lead students through high-intensity workouts designed to push the body to its peak performance level. The staff leads traditional CrossFit workouts, which strengthen and condition the body with functional movements, such as weightlifts and box jumps, performed in a supportive group environment. The gym also branches out into metabolic conditioning workouts, or MetCons. These are fast-paced exercises performed in short bursts, boosting cardiovascular performance and training the metabolism to burn fat efficiently.
