Underneath the Boston-centric name, CrossFit Wicked is supported by a rock solid foundation of high-intensity interval training and clean nutrition. Members push themselves through the Workout of the Day in small-group classes while trainers spur them on. Afterward, coaches help folks blast through their fitness goals with personalized nutrition advice. Members learn all about the Paleo diet, which focuses on meats and veggies.
The philosophy lines up with most other CrossFit studios, but CrossFit Wicked differs in a couple ways. First, its community of exercisers represents a cross section of society, with everyone from professional athletes to elementary-school teachers torching calories in the small-group classes. The other distinction is much larger. Literally. The gym itself is absolutely massive, which means that folks get all of the benefits of a smaller class size—personalized attention and camaraderie—without the drawback of trying to bust out a burpee in a crowded room.
