What You'll Get

Hunger, unlike ambulance sirens, meningitis, and restraining orders, is not something you can safely ignore. Answer the mighty call of a bellowing belly with today's Groupon: for $12, you get $25 worth of hearty breakfast, lunch, or dinner fare and drinks at Crossroads Bar and Grill in Bellevue.

All three major meals (and all 77 minor ones) get served up hot, fresh, and free of explosives at Crossroads, which opened in May as the latest addition to the Neighborhood Grills family of restaurants. For breakfast (served Saturdays and Sundays 9 a.m.–2 p.m.), keep it comfort foody with the neighborhood slam ($10.99)—two eggs, two pancakes, real maple syrup, bacon, and sausage—or go a little gourmet with the shrimp and potato cake benedict ($10.99). Lunchtime fare such as the tasty coconut-crusted prawns ($7.99), the spicy Thai peanut half-pound cheeseburger ($11.99), and even spicier habanero chicken mac and cheese with a crunchy panko crust ($11.99) will distract office workers from the fact that their bosses demanded they turn in their stapler and ID badge. Dinner offers the entire lunch menu, in addition to tongue-tickling creations such as tiger prawn and andouille sausage penne ($14.99), mahi mahi tacos ($15.99), and a hearty surf-and-turf combo ($16.99) that introduces a burly 6 oz. sirloin to four shy coconut prawns on a crowded dance floor of garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies.

The sunlight streaming through the large windows at Crossroads adds a healthy garnish of vitamin D to the full-service wooden bar's line-up of luscious libations. Schmooze your cold, standoffish ice sculpture date with a cross-cultural flavor of the mandarin matador ($8)—made with Absolut Mandarin, cranberry and orange juice, and Red Bull—or test your ability to flirt alcohol-free with Crossroads' fresh-squeezed lemonade ($3.50). A bevy of beers are available bottled ($3–$6), canned ($3), and on tap ($4–$5.75). Wines come in red, white, and eerily glowing green, and are sippable by the glass ($5.50–$7.25) or by the bottle ($23–$33).

This Groupon is valid for food and drinks only. Though it’s not valid for happy hour, you can use it toward other daily specials.
