Dinner runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. The historic Crown Uptown Theatre hosts Next to Normal, a rock musical that tells the tale of a mother struggling with bipolar disorder and a family that must deal with the repercussions of her illness and treatment. The musical first opened on Broadway in April 2009 and proceeded to win three Tony Awards plus the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
Before the curtains open, guests sit down at tables arrayed throughout the stately auditorium to dig into dishes from the seasonal menu.
