Horrible experience! 1 personal trainer session included, which I used and I explained my health issues. The trainer ignored my health issues, then to add insult to injury, they charged my credit card $100 dollars for future personal training sessions which I DID NOT sign up for. The Mount Prospect Illinois location then refused to refund the $100. I was extremely ill for 2 weeks after my visit

I was very impressed with this spacious gym. They include many amenities at an unbeatable rate. Lots of equipment and options for your workouts. I cannot wait to try out the classes which are included with the peak membership. I tried out the hydromassage which was very therapeutic.

They ended up charging me twice for $25 and $39 and claim they can't refund the money. The groupon was supposed to be for 3 months - I should not have been charged extra for anything!!!

I went in with the Groupon and they were willing to let my husband have the same deal as me. we did monthly payments which are fair and the cancellation policy was fair. the locker rooms were fairly clean, but you need to bring your own lock. Overall very positive but I've only gone once.

This groupon is a scam! I went in to redeem the groupon and they charged me a $10 processing fee on top of the $10 I already paid for the groupon. They told me if I wanted to cancel and not be charged for another month then I had to cancel 10 days before the next renewal date. I canceled today (14 days before renewal) and they told me I was responsible for another month of payment in order to cancel! I was never told that and the groupon explicitly states that any fees should not exceed the groupon price of $10. This coupon is a scam and no one should buy this unless you know you plan on staying here. The gym is old and the locker rooms are gross.

About Crunch Fitness

Though now spread over the United States, Crunch gym started in a basement-level aerobics studio in New York City. Despite the humble location, the gym's founders aspired to foster a workout environment that would keep members exercising through entertainment. Their idea was to host fitness classes with offbeat touches, including hip-hop aerobics featuring a live rapper and coed action wrestling.

Twenty years later, Crunch gyms' fitness classes still stray from the beaten path. Body Web with TRX sessions suspend members from a pillar, where they complete gravity-defying maneuvers with help from strong resistance ropes. In Bosu Bootcamp, every exercise is completed on an apparatus that is part balance ball and part core board.
