Talented carvers from Sculpted Ice Works craft this annual, indoor, interactive display from more than 100 tons of ice. This year, guests are whisked back in time to a frosty version of the Wild Wild West, complete with an ice-covered wagon, era-appropriate animals, and all the bells and whistles and mournful harmonica music of a traditional western town. Big guns can challenge yellow bellies to race to the end of the ice maze or the bottom of the 40-foot dual-run ice slides, both of which welcome thrill-seekers of all ages, or watch daily ice carving demonstrations. After traversing the bitter-cold badlands, thaw out with a cup of complimentary hot chocolate.

Crystal Cabin Fever
Every winter, the professional ice carvers at Sculpted Ice Works whittle and chip away at large blocks of ice to create Crystal Cabin Fever, an indoor interactive display of expertly formed frozen water. In the event’s infancy, the exhibit was limited to a life-size ice cabin, but it has since blossomed to include a unique annual theme, live carving demonstrations, and an ice slide, totaling more than 100 tons of ice in all. In the fall, Sculpted Ice Works hosts Night at the Ice Museum, with ice sculptures and seasonal fun. Factory tours and a museum on ice harvesting are open year-round.
