What You'll Get
The tooth fairy still rewards adults who keep their teeth nice, leaving grown-up gifts, such as issues of the Economist and Pontiac Azteks, under their pillows. Grin and win with today’s Groupon: for $39, you get a dental-care package at Crystal Dental of Fresno (a $313 value). The package includes the following:
- Dental exam (a $71 value)
- X-rays (a $121 value)
- Cleaning (an $86 value)
- Oral-cancer screening (a $35 value)<p>
The experienced staff of Crystal Dental of Fresno keeps mouth trophies polished with a slew of advanced equipment and services. Amid an office draped in clean lines and modern décor, clients will recline in a plush dental chair as Dr. Diana Correa Velosa takes a peek inside mouths during the dental exam, checking the palate and teeth for signs of plaque, ulcers, and grinding. The dentist is then alerted of any tissue abnormalities or lesions during an oral-cancer screening courtesy of the Velscope Vx, a handheld device that exposes internal issues with a cascade of fluorescent light. A series of digital x-rays helps to further diagnose mouth problems, from hidden cavities and bone loss to back molars smuggling cartons of Kit Kats. A thorough cleaning brings dental journeys to a close by leaving enamel refreshed and ready to take on the coming days with a galvanized grin. Crystal Dental of Fresno stays dedicated to each patient’s comfort by offering nitrous oxide to help ease nerves during cleanings, dental surgery, or the office’s hourly finger-puppet shows.

About Crystal Dental of Fresno
Following in her father’s footsteps, Dr. Diana Correa Velosa became a dentist more than 25 years ago. Continuing-education classes have strengthened her skill set for such procedures as wisdom-teeth extractions, root canals, porcelain crowns, and dentures. Outside of the office, Dr. Velosa participates in summer mission trips and dispenses free dental care in Central and South America. She and her team maintain a friendly demeanor at all times, unlike the host of a children's TV show—who once in a while must go to the DMV.
