CSI: The Experience
A car smashes through the front window of a living room, but no one knows why. A waitress dies and the only clues are scattered throughout an alleyway. A partially buried skeleton is found in a desert canyon, but how long it's been there is anyone's guess. It's up to every visitor to CSI: The Experience to collect evidence and solve the mysteries. After scouring the crime scenes, honorary detectives use Lab 1's forensic technology to examine fingerprints, blood-spatters, and fibers. In Lab 2, a medical examiner conducts an autopsy complete with toxicology, insect, and DNA tests. Throughout the experience, CSI character Gil Grissom guides visitors along, urging them to exercise reasoning, logic, and open-minded exploration, as well as play the perpetrator's confession album backwards for clues. At the end, participants report their conclusions and discover whether they solved the case.
Our Body: The Universe Within
In Our Body: The Universe Within, visitors learn from those who came before by examining what they’ve left behind: their bodies. Using a polymer impregnation preservation technique, the exhibit’s creators have assembled real human organs and bodies to showcase how humans function. But this is no boring anatomy lesson. The skeletons—complete with muscular structures, nerves, and veins—stretch, kick balls, ride a bike, and even play chess to reveal the malleability, efficiency, and overwhelming elegance of the body in day-to-day life. Visitors can study up close what the skin hides—peering beneath tendons and ribs—on their own or with the aid of an audio tour.

“The cold case number 3 crime scene is lacking in the exhibit a bit but the rest is good. overall a good time”
