What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Curves is a facility specifically designed for women to provide strength training, stretching and aerobic activity all within 30 minutes which is fun and safe.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? The inspiration to get involved in this business was simple to help women live healthier, more productive and active lives. Help them to avoid disease and illness including heart attack the #1 killer in the USA today, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity and other health related issues. The Curves workout is actually proven to help reduce the effects and risks of all of these diseases and improve bone density and strength.
What do you love most about your job? I love helping people to achieve their goals of health and wellness no matter how big or small the challenge.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? We have so many success stories that it is difficult to pinpoint the best reaction I've ever had. But I will give you one example of a success story. We recently ran a 10lb in 10 week challenge for 10 volunteers that wanted to lose the weight, and this one particular lady had never been able to lose the weight and keep it off and she doubted she could do it this time, but with encouragement and dedication she managed to lose 10.75lbs in the 10 weeks and the pride and joy she felt for herself in achieving this goal was why I do what I do. She realizes that it can come back as quickly as it was lost but this was a big win for her and you can do it too.
