Catch the largest gathering of bald eagles in the continental United States as they gorge on spawning salmon in the Skagit River, which is the only river in Washington that's home to all five of the salmon species -- Chinook, Pink, Sockeye, Chum and Coho. This annual spectacle is perfect for bird and nature lovers, and on this tour, you'll get to see the wonder for yourself. The day kicks off with a bus ride to the North Cascades, with stops at three different sites -- including the site of the Oso mudslide disaster -- to view feeding or perched eagles, with staff on hand to give talks and offer telescopes to aid in spotting. With morning snacks and a lunch included, this all-day adventure is a seasonal treat you won't want to miss.
