I am so sorry, but I believe I am confused. Does the procedure use Selphyl? If not Selphyl, then what does it use? Thanks again.

Cheryl S.  asked on  Jul 10, 2012

A:

No we do not, we use your own Plasma cells.

Q:

I am very interested in Selphyl. How long has Dr. Cutler been using this procedure? Are his patients pleased with the results? Thank you.

Cheryl S.  asked on  Jul 10, 2012

A:

Dr. Runels technique uses Regen to collect the stem cells. He uses the Vampire Face Lift name to try and avoid confusion on his technique from people using Selphyl. The procedure has been used in New York and California for several years. The Cutler Eye and Skin Center has been using it for a shorter time. Please look at Dr. Charles Runels web site and the Vampire site for long lasting results.

Q:

Does this work for plumping the cheeks and lips?

Suzanne G.  asked on  Jul 10, 2012

A:

I suggest you look at Dr. Charles Runels web sites for actual photos. The ideal case is plumping of the face where facial atrophy has occurred. It is not used for the lips where facial fillers are used.

Q:

Does this include the neck and what is the recovery time?

Donna M.  asked on  Jul 9, 2012

A:

The Vampire Regen Stem cells are used in different areas. You can read about the O Shot, Vampire Breast Lift and Regen Stem cells for hair loss. However, this Groupon is for the face lift only and the neck is not included. You may want a consultation for a different area. Recovery time: There is some discomfort for 1-2 days. Depending on the skin type, there may be some bruising. That is the extent of the recovery. The stem cells then do their thing for the next three weeks to a year. There is no immediate change like facial fillers.
