Q:

Would I be able to share the groupon with my husband? (As in we buy one groupon and we take 5 classes together).

Sarah M.  asked on  Mar 5, 2013

A:

Sarah, we do allow family members residing within the same household to share a ride card. It will require an email to me with some additional information, but once we get that information it's easy to set up.

Q:

I am interested in buying a groupon and would like to try your classes. I am not in very good shape and would definitely need to start out with beginner classes. I work and can only attend evening classes. It appears that the easier classes are at noon which would not help me at all. Will you be adding any easier classes in the evening? Vicki

Victoria N.  asked on  Mar 4, 2013

A:

Vicki, we are currently evaluating whether to add "Take it Easy" either Wednesdays or Thursdays in the 7:00 pm hour. If we can get a solid 5 clients that would commit to that class/time we will absolutely add it. We're also evaluating changing the Saturday 9:30 am "HIIT" to "Take it Easy." That said, beginners are always accommodated in "In the Zone" and the instructor will give instructions for modifications. We teach in a very organic style at Cycledelic, meaning we ride bikes as bikes were meant to be ridden. We welcome (and in fact celebrate) when clients would like to simply "sit and pedal." Please note that there are two Intro classes each week (Mondays at 8:45 am and Thursdays at 5:00 pm) where we go over bike set-up, console instructions, and Q&A's. All clients, regardless of prior experience, are encouraged to come to Intro (and wear workout clothes for that set-up!) Any other questions? Let me know!

Q:

How are these classes for beginners? Do you offer different levels? Thanks

Melissa F.  asked on  Mar 4, 2013

A:

Melissa, We do offer different class types. On our schedule tab online, if you click the name of the class, a popup description of that class will appear. Generally speaking, beginners will be at home in "Take It Easy," and "In the Zone." "BEAT" and "HIIT" are high intensity classes and not at all suited for beginners. Regardless of experience, we encourage all new clients to get to an "Intro" class. It does not use one of your rides on your ride card and is 100% free. Intro is where we do bike set-up, instruct you on how to use the bike's console and have a Q&A session. Please let me know if you have further questions.
