Much like robots, children, and robotic children, bikes need to be regularly recalibrated to keep them from developing human emotions. Keep your bike performing at its functional, unfeeling best with today's Groupon to Cyclo-Ward Bicycle Repair. Choose between the following options:

  • For $25, you get a basic bicycle tune-up (a $50 value).
  • For $125, you get a complete bicycle overhaul (a $250 value).

Owner James Rosar of Cyclo-Ward Bicycle Repair draws upon years of bicycle familiarity as a veteran long-distance cyclist and professional mechanic every time he nurses wheels back to health. Recruit his tour de expertise for a basic tune-up and listen to the bike purr as he adjusts major bearings, derailleurs, and cable tension, followed by an alignment of brakes, handlebars, and seat. After a light wheel truing, Rosar then gives each wheeled stallion a functional test ride to make sure all parts are operating in the spirit of peace and harmony. In addition to all procedures included with the basic tune-up, the complete bicycle overhaul tacks on removal, cleaning, and fresh coal for the drive train, full disassembly and greasing of the major bearings, and a frame alignment check. Though recommendations for replacement parts may be made, this Groupon only covers labor.

When bringing a ride into the shop, clients should let the mechanics know the urgency with which the bike needs to be returned—either while waiting (25% additional charge), later that day (10% additional charge), or whenever the shop calls to let them know it’s finished. A comfortable waiting area exists for attached owners with coffee and drinks available for a suggested $1 donation.
