Q:

I am already PADI certified , however have only completed a scuba diver, not the open water and it took me four 45 min dives plus two 2hour class to get the certificate. It was back in 2009, since then i've done many dives, but all of them shallow, 30-40 ft, due to never having an open water certificate. What will that 160 bucks course grant me after completion? thanx Leon Y.

A:

As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. This certification does not expire, and it is good the rest of your life!

Q:

I was looking at the website and I can't tell if the whole course cost $160 or is it $160 plus the certification costs and such and if so what would the total cost be for everything I would need

Michael  asked on  Mar 7, 2013

A:

Thanks for youe qusstion Michael. The $160 is for the pool and class with our dive center. The open water dives will be extra. $100 for all 4, if you did these at our dive shop, if you did not have equipment then we could rent for you at a specilal discount price for the weekend which will cost you $50
