Love the tour, the guide took time to explain as he went l along. The beers were fantastic. Especially when you're accustomedto Budweiser and corona. Well worth the money. Plus I love the take home glass.

Excellent place and time well spent at DL Geary Brewing. Kevin was the best - professional yet very down to earth. We took a tour and chatted about the business and we could not have been treated any better. Highly recommended brewery. Great folks. Excellent beer and a nice atmosphere, inside and out. The wife and I will be back.

Cool place and awesome tour. Not a large place but great history. We enjoyed the beer and I would highly recommend as one of your stops in the beer mecca of Portland ME.

About D.L. Geary Brewing Company

When David and Karen Geary started brewing in 1983, there was a mere baker's dozen of microbreweries in the United States—and most were baking their liquid bread in California and the Pacific Northwest. The couple decided to do things a little differently. After training in Scotland and England, David brought back the brewing methods he needed to Americanize some of the British Isles' classic drinks. The Gearys then established New England's first microbrewery two years later, and they've had more than 30 years to perfect their process. Now, fans can knock back an assertive IPA with a malty foundation, a pale ale that invokes Burton-on-Trent brews, and a creamy mahogany London Porter. We are always experimenting with new recipes and expanding our product line in the Tasting Room.
