Q:

Is there an age restriction? My grand daughter is 12 and I was thinking of buying her the procedure. Can you advise?

mike b.  asked on  Feb 4, 2013

A:

Hello Mike, There is no age restriction as long as her parents/Guardians consent and sign the form at time of whitening.

Q:

I have recessed gums. Fillings have been placed over exposed roots. Would I be a candidate for the procedure.

Paul M.  asked on  Feb 3, 2013

A:

Hello Paul, Our process is gentle enough for you to have the procedure. The fillings that are placed over your roots will only whiten back to their original color when placed on the teeth.

Q:

I saw an earlier response about whitening "caps", but I'd like a little more information. I have a crown on just one front tooth which has been there for 20 yrs. . I have been told by my dentist that whitening treatments do not work on crowns at all. I realize your treatment is different using a laser rather than just gel and I'm really excited about a possible option for me. I just want to be sure it will work before I purchase the treatment. Thank you, Peggy

Q:

If I have the procedure done at the park meadows mall, would I be visible to other people ( to include people on the second floor of the mall) while getting the whiting done? Thanks

jeff c.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

Hello Jeff, This would depend on which station you sit at. However a better option for you might be our office in North Parker which is just 5 minutes from Park Meadows.

Q:

I have had my teeth whitened on two previous occassions (using the bleach method). I did experience the sensitivity and I don't see great results. I know others who go in and after one treatment their teeth look amazing. I don't smoke or drink soda, tea and very little coffee or red wine. Will I see better results from this treatment or is there a physical explanation for my lack of results that would result in the same outcome with this treatment? Thank you

Kim B.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

Hello Kim, I can not speak to the other treatments you had because I'm not sure what brand you used, however I can tell you that DaVinci is known for doing what other products can't. I would like to speak with you to find out the details of what you have tried in the past to see if DaVinci is the solution you are looking for. Please call me directly at 303-885-4362. Thanks, Kim

Q:

I have 4 'caps' on my upper front teeth that are discolored and have yellowed teeth from continuously drinking tea and of course, age. How much whitening could I expect from this treatment and will the process whiten nthe 'caps' as well? Thank you.

Rita K.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

Hi Rita, DaVinci teeth whitening will remove the staining from existing dental work and take it back to the original color. Our goal is to clean up the existing dental work and whiten the natural teeth to match for a nice even smile. We cannot whiten the caps beyond the original color of the material used at the time of placement.

Q:

I have decalcification in squares on the face of my teeth from not caring for them when I had braces. My dentist has advised me against traditional tooth whitening because it could further weaken the decalcified areas. Would this treatment have the same drawback for me?

Craig K.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

Hello Craig, We use a natural, plant and mineral based product that is much gentler than traditional whitening. We have clients with the decalcification and there are no issues. However, if you are concerned you could go to one of our Ortho offices such as Allegro Orthodontists (720) 842-4544 for a treatment. I'm not sure what their current pricing is. I hope this helps:-)

Q:

Is this process completed in one setting? & how long is the process? Sheila

Sheila C.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

Hi Sheila, The process is completed in one setting and consists of three 20 minute sessions. After each 20 minute session the teeth are rinsed and fresh gel is applied for total treatment time of 60 minutes. Clients do have the option to stop after just 40 minutes if they don't want their teeth to be to white. Most clients want the whitest effect and will go for the complete 60 minute session. Thanks for the question:-)

Q:

What's the difference between DaVinci whitening and BriteSmile? Can you do this before you have an implant?

Elaine  asked on  Feb 1, 2013

A:

Hello Elaine, Thank you for your interest in DaVinci. The process is similar; the difference is in the technology and product used. The DaVinci teeth whitening system uses the latest LED cold laser technology and our signature whitening gel consisting of natural plant and mineral ingredients. Our system has proven to yield superior results with little to no sensitivity when compared to other whitening systems. It is recommended that you have the whitening done prior to your implant so that the implant will be matched to your new white teeth.
