Q:

What is the procedure for the $59 and $79 deal? Does one work better than the other? if so, please explain.

Margaret K.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

The $59 procedure is one 20 minute treatment. This treatment will eliminate surface stains and at least one layer deep in the tooth. The $79 deal is for a 60 minute treatment (completed in three 20 minute sessions back to back in same visit). Once the first 20 minute treatment is completed the pores in your teeth are open and subsequent treatments will get deeper into the tooth and remove more permanent stains. We usually recommend first timers or individuals who have not whitened recently plan on a 40 or 60 minute treatment to get the best results.

Q:

It says its safe for crowns, but will the crowns actually be affected and whitened? I have several crowns in the front and am concerned that if my other teeth are significantly lightened, then the crowns will look dark.

Lane W.  asked on  Dec 10, 2012

A:

Our treatment does not harm any dental work, including crowns, veneers, implants, etc. The artificial material used does accumulate stains but at a much slower rate than your natural teeth. Our whitening process will remove those stains but will not whiten the dental work beyond the original installed color. You do not need to be concerned about over whitening your natural teeth. Each whitening treatment is 20 minutes long and we evaluate the results after each treatment. The 60-Minute Session consists of three 20-minute sessions completed back to back and we evaluate the results after each treatment. We will only continue treatment if you feel you want your teeth whiter.

Q:

is this safe for people with tooth sensativity?

Stephanie H.  asked on  Dec 10, 2012

A:

Perfectly safe. Most of our customers experience no sensitivity whatsoever. However, for those who wish to be sure there will be no sensitivity, we do offer a Desensitizing and Remineraling treatment that is available when you come for your appointment at a small additional cost of $20. This gel is brushed on your teeth and left on for 5 minutes prior to the whitening session and then rinsed out. It will desensitize the nerves in your teeth and almost provides an excellent mineral bath for your teeth. You will have extra gel left over to use at home after the treatment is complete.
