What You'll Get
Breaking bread is a bonding experience, encouraging new friendships while testing the strength of communal sledgehammers. Swing into sustenance with today's Groupon: for $37, you get a three-course upscale American dinner for two at Daks Grill in Dale City, Virginia (up to a $75 value). The meal includes:
- Two soups or salads (up to a $10 value)
- Two entrees (up to a $46 value)
- Two soft drinks (up to a $4 value)
- Two desserts (up to an $11 value)
- Two after-dinner coffees or teas (a $4 value)
The chefs at Daks Grill add gourmet accents to classic upscale American dishes using hand cut, USDA-quality meats and fresh ingredients. Diners can choose their courses in the stately dining room while gazing through breezy Continental-style curtains or enjoy the outdoor patio as they help each other over the crags and peaks of the crock o' french onion, a mountain of sherry-seasoned sautéed onions ringed with beef broth, accordion notes, and provolone. For the main course, diners can sample a succulent sirloin, which spent a night mingling with Daks' own marinade before being joined by a duo of bacon-wrapped shrimp. Dirty chicken and linguine tosses thin, spicy slices of chicken breast in a Cajun cream sauce culled from the spiciest tributary to the Mississippi, which is then decked out with tomatoes, onions, and garlic bread. Finally, dessert marries strawberry cream pie, french silk pie, or the chocolate and cream of tiramisu with a deep, dark coffee or soothing hot tea.

About Daks Grill
Originally built in the 1800s as a hog and dairy farm, the historical Russell House was made over in 1997 as the site of Daks Grill. The flagstone-covered restaurant welcomes guests seven days a week, serving up fresh soups and grilling USDA Choice steaks, such as the 14-ounce new york strip and tender 8-ounce seasoned filet mignon. During the warmer months, diners can enjoy their food on the spacious outdoor patio while keeping an eye on suspiciously bunny-like cloud formations.
