The concealed-handgun-license course includes classroom instruction taught by a certified instructor, range instruction with a certified firearms instructor, a range-proficiency test, and help filling out all the necessary paperwork to apply for a license. The classes are taught weekly on Saturday or Sunday, depending on availability. The course runs 10–13 hours and may run on weekday nights, if enough interest is expressed. If participants don’t have a handgun, a rental will be provided at no charge.
