About Dallas Observer Tacolandia
If society is lucky enough, there will come a day when tacos preside over City Hall as public officials. Until then, the Dallas Observer's Tacolandia event will certainly suffice. On Saturday, October 15, the taco-sampling festival will unfold like a tortilla across City Hall plaza in a tasty showcase of the city's most-popular taquerias. Unlimited food samples will give attendees a chance to test urban contemporary tacos, authentic street-style tacos, and just about every type of taco in between. Live bands and cash bars, meanwhile, will ramp up the festive vibes, and awards will recognize the day's top tacos in various categories.
