At Dan Johnson Photography, experienced and certified photographers hone their eye for image composition and framing to capture subjects’ spirit inside apertures during custom portrait sessions. Clients can gather in groups of up to six people to fit entire families on a mantle-worthy snapshot or strut solo to avoid miscommunication over whether expressions should be silly or serious. Shutterbugs coach subjects through a variety of postures to find the most expressive image possible in the cozy studio. Post-shoot, clients browse their proofs in a complimentary online gallery to select their favorite still to sharpen with digital retouching. Digital dark rooms then churn out four prints of the chosen images in three different sizes to put in picture frames, care packages, or audition materials for Family Feud.

About Dan Johnson Photography
Dan Johnson fell in love with photography using a simple point-and-shoot in high school, toting his lens to summer camp, onto rollercoasters, and through marching-band performances. This love has grown into a successful career as a wedding and portrait photographer—one he pursues with his wife, Jodi, in their spacious Grandville studio. Dan and his team deftly capture senior portraits, snap romantic, lively wedding photographs, and preserve images of babies and newborns for use in embarrassing one's children in front of their future spouses. The pair also creates wholesale prints through their sister company, GoProPrints.com.
