What You'll Get
Celebrating its fifth anniversary in 2016, the Dana Point Symphony Orchestra (DPSO) has quickly become one of Orange County's true cultural jewels, as led by its engaging young maestro and music director, Dean Anderson. The ensemble performs a range of classical favorites, from Brahms, Beethoven, Mozart and beyond, to 20th-century works by popular composers like Gershwin and Copland, and attracts top-tier guest artists, including award-winning musicians like violist Zach Dellinger and Japanese violinist Aya Kiyonaga. A reception follows each performance at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, which provides the perfect setting for DPSO concerts, with its striking exterior, incredible acoustics and beautiful ocean backdrop.
