What You'll Get
Every dance has its own footwork, from the flowing steps of the waltz to the rose-flattening stomps of the tango. Learn a potpourri of moves with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $15 for one private lesson, one group class, and one practice party for one or two people (a $145 value)
- $35 for one month of unlimited group dancing parties (a $280 value)
- $34 for five group classes and two practice parties for one or two people (a $70 value)
During private lessons, instructors work on style and technique, and keep a record of what is covered during each session. Group lessons give students the opportunity to work with different dance partners while developing and refining technique. Practice parties are more relaxed and less structured, and are a fun environment for students to try out their new skills with each other or the instructors present. Suncoast.com’s instructors specialize in styles such as ballroom, Latin, swing, and country. See the class schedule.

About Dancing on the Suncoast
Dancing on the Suncoast owner Patrick Johnson is a bona fide world-class dancer, claiming his first titles as a British Juvenile and Junior Ballroom Champion. He proved successful in multiple dance styles, eventually becoming the champion of both European Amateur Latin and Amateur European Ten-Dance competitions. He’s been trusted as a World Class Adjudicator, and helped co-found the Brazilian Open Championships. Patrick and his team prepare students for rug cutting at special events and weekend nightclub jaunts with both private instruction and group classes—specializing in American and International styles. Throughout lessons, instructors teach the foundations of dances from a long list of styles that range from Latin to country-western, helping students to learn basic step patterns, timing, and the ability to lead, follow, or stand gracefully still.
