What You'll Get
Dance can express what words cannot, whether it's the triumphant joy in a football player's post-touchdown pirouette or the passionate tango used to notify roommates that the basement is flooding. Transmit tidings with twinkling toes thanks to today’s Groupon: for $30, you get five group lessons at Dance Place Miami, located in North Miami Beach (a $60 value).
Having won numerous international dance titles over the past 20 years, instructors Alex and Tanya Koulik exude world-class grace that inspires students to boogie their best. The pair has groomed gyrators who have gone on to flaunt their gam skills on Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and The O'Reilly Factor, and know how to cultivate capering capabilities in even the most timid toe twinklers. Over the course of five lessons, students can hone their ballroom, tango, and salsa vocabularies, subsequently improving agility, endurance, and their ability to win over a supercilious cat-in-law. Classes for Groupon holders will be held on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. or scheduled by appointment on other days, and can be attended at any time over the course of six months. Located a mere sauté from the Atlantic, Dance Place Miami boasts ample parking and hardwood floors as smooth as a dolphin's glass eyeball.

About Miami Beach Ballroom
Though flat and polished to a brilliant gleam, the floor at Miami Beach Ballroom is as much a springboard as it is a dancing surface. Students from the school have taken the steps learned in the ballroom and gone on to compete on some of the biggest stages possible, from the US Grand National finals to the sets of So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars. Instructors take students step-by-step through the tango, rhumba, salsa, and other popular styles.
