What You'll Get
Today's Groupon offers a pole-based exercise more effective than 1920s pole sitting, more energizing than pole-vaulting, and more sensual than polenta: for $30, you get three exotic-dance lessons (a $60 value) at Studio X on West Broad Street. A comfortable female-only environment where all body types and ages are welcome, Studio X keeps its schedule packed with exotic dance, striptease, and burlesque classes that tone the torso and sculpt flabby self-confidences. Experienced instructors introduce newbies to come-hither hip swivels, slithering pole spins, and other basic movies in beginner-level Basic X classes, and intermediates in continuing-level classes turn up the heat with sexy props and smoldering-hot bedroom eyes. Fitness-focused Polefit sessions and Zumba Latin-dance workouts raise heartbeats with intense exercise minus the boudoir thrills and subsequent risk of being ogled by bug-eyed cartoon wolves. Classes are capped at 15 students and last 60–75 minutes. Attendees can dance in stilettos, sneakers, or bare feet. See here for full class schedule.

Not valid on parties, workshop classes, or Try It Out classes. Not valid with other offers. Merchant is solely responsible to purchasers for the care and quality of the advertised goods and services.
About Studio X
Studio X's exotic dancing lessons offer twofold benefits. The first is physical; students quickly burn calories and build core strength by following the regimen detailed in the studio's pole-fitness and dance classes. The second benefit is the increased self-confidence that students build while stretching and shimmying in a supportive environment that, like Oprah's tree fort, is for women only. Men aren't completely left out, however—Studio X also hosts separate pole and aerial fitness classes for guys.
