About Dane’s Dessert Café
Karen came from an entrepreneurial family and always wanted to have her own business. She founded Dane’s Dessert Café to give people a place to meet, relax, and indulge in sweets. Her tantalizing treats have warranted mentions in Columbus Dining Magazine, Columbus Underground, and ColumbusAlive.com. The café specializes in sweet and savory crepes and Belgian waffles topped with a mix of fresh fruit, hot fudge, and ice cream. A variety of sundaes, cakes, and coffees are also available. Between 6 p.m. and midnight on Fridays, local band Sensational Reasons entertains guests by playing smooth jazz and making hilarious sounds with half-empty squeeze bottles of chocolate syrup. The café offers complimentary Wi-Fi to patrons.
