Is this for just electric guitar? I just started a classical guitar class at the local junior college and was looking for something else to go with that. Classical is not what I really want to play but felt it would be a great beginning and overall base for learning how to play. I have an acoustic guitar and would like to learn to play rock, r and b, jazz, etc. Thank you.

Does it include getting the guitar in tune? I am such a beginnger too. We have an electric and an acoustic and I am not sure which one to start with. My son said the 'whammy bar' is broken off the electric one - does that matter? Which is easier to learn as a beginner? I am in my 40's and have no guitar experience.
