What You'll Get
For $85, today's side deal gets boys and girls ages seven to 18 a three-day ProCamps Worldwide basketball camp, taught by Indiana Pacers forward and NBA All-Star Danny Granger (a $205 value). Camp sessions take place Friday, July 30, through Sunday, August 1, from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. all three days, at The Fieldhouse, located in Fishers. ProCamps Worldwide has 12 years of experience hosting sports camps that have featured some of the world's top athletes.
ProCamps invites children and teens to three days of full-court fun and in-the-paint instruction with NBA star Danny Granger. Each day, miniature dribblers will divide into small groups to experience various stations that teach team concepts and basketball fundamentals under the expert instruction of experienced coaches in the area. Each camper will play at least one game per day, with games divided up by age groups. Campers can also take part in additional competitions and contests, possibly with a chance to earn prizes. A camp T-shirt and autographed camp team photo will ensure that no kid cager goes home empty handed. For an additional $15, Groupon purchasers can get a camp bracelet, entitling campers to two sports drinks, a lunch, and one snack each day.
Valid only for ages seven to 18. You must fill out and bring the registration form with parental signature to camp. Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. the first day.
More than 900 Facebook users are friends with ProCamps Worldwide. Though reviews are lacking for the Danny Granger basketball camp, Granger is a heralded NBA basketball player. The Indiana Pacers forward earned an invitation to the USA Basketball training camp this July, and he was named to the NBA's 2008–09 All-Star team and won the NBA's 2008–2009 Most Improved Player award.
About ProCamps Worldwide
Since 1998, ProCamps Worldwide has bridged the gap between pro athletes and their fans with a variety of instructional youth camps and fantasy camps for adults. More than 100 professional and Olympic gold-medal athletes have lent their wisdom during camps conducted across the country. For instance, the NBA's leading scorer, Kevin Durant, dishes details on his skills at a camp in Oklahoma, and Super Bowl champion and Packers linebacker Clay Matthews teaches the careful choreography of backfield disruption in Wisconsin. At fantasy camps, John Calipari and Bill Self—the two coaches who squared off in 2012's NCAA title game—give campers tours of their programs' hallowed halls.
