What You'll Get
The first truly American recipe called for a melting pot full of corn, cheese, and fireworks seasoned with the spiciest constitutional clauses. Sample decidedly more delicious domestic eats with today’s Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of upscale American fare and drinks at Danny’s Bar and Grill at the StoneRidge Golf Club in Stillwater on Hudson Boulevard north of I-94.
The culinary wizards at Danny’s Bar and Grill artfully silence the growls of stomach sirens with a multifarious array of menus replete with toothsome breakfast, lunch, and dinner fare. Lunchtime utensils strut their stuff as they demolish the breaded ramparts of the Knife & Fork chicken club, a sizeable sandwich festooned with avocado, bacon, and pesto aioli ($10.95). Kick off dinner feeding frenzies with made-to-order guacamole ($6.45), or toast to taste buds with a flavorful champagne chicken accompanied by a suave calico-rice pilaf and a tuxedo-clad saltshaker ($15.95). The pecan-walleye entree basks in an ambrosial dried-cherry maple-pecan butter sauce ($17.95), as chefs crown the king-like aged Wisconsin white-cheddar macaroni and cheese with a crispy prosciutto tiara ($13.95).
Bask in the glow of the indoor/outdoor fireplace while imbibing one of Danny’s specialty cocktails on the outdoor patio ($5–$8), or keep an eye on the sports tidings streaming forth from the bar’s high-definition flat-screen TVs. Ravenous ear drums can chow down on a buffet of live music hosted on select evenings.

About Danny's Bar & Grill
Sometimes, you’d rather just enjoy a view of the fairways than be on them. That’s why the staff at Danny’s Bar & Grill, located at Stoneridge Golf Club, welcomes guests to sit on their expansive patio, which gives them clear views of the green. The patio features an outdoor fire pit where guests can keep warm on cool nights as they wait for plates of chef Bohnert’s Guinness-braised short ribs or mahi mahi encrusted with macadamia nuts. When patio weather is over, guests can still hang out by the indoor fireplace in the dining room where a slew of high-definition TVs showcase golf matches and, if the golf match turns out right, golf fights. On weekend evenings, live bands entertain in the dining room.
