Such a nice atmosphere, attentive and interactive waitstaff, and the food was great! We got a pretty standard cheese pizza, and then added their aged prosciutto, and it was unbelievably good. Made for great leftovers the next day!

We had a wonderful server...he was very attentive and even recommended a great appetizer to go with our pizza....prosciutto on a ciabatta...it was delicious. Great atmosphere as well. Will definitely be going back again!

About Dante Ristorante Pizzeria

To create a true Neapolitan pizza, a very strict set of guidelines must be followed—right down to the ingredients in the dough. Dante Ristorante Pizzeria follows those guidelines to a T under the guidance of chef Nick Strawhecker, who studied at the Italian Culinary Institute and was named one of Omaha's most outstanding entrepreneurs under 40.

At Dante, chef Nick and his team use an Italian-designed Mugnaini brick oven to cook their pies. Temperatures inside this wood-burning appliance reach up to 800 degrees, hot enough to melt the heart of even the most aloof crossing guard. It churns out such pies as the amore di carne, which is piled with soppressata, sausage, and pistachio-laced mortadella and mozzarella. Chefs use the oven to cook more than pizzas, though: the menu also includes wood-roasted diver scallops and Brussels sprouts.
