About A Chat with Danzarts
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
With over 50 years, Creative Director Patricia/her teachers also coach every student in the crisp body lines of ballet because our troupes perform all over San Diego at schools, churches and community events. This is great for kids to get over public speaking fears because the platform is familiar.
What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Find a spot in class where you can SEE the teachers feet to follow along as she breaks down the steps and just have FUN! Oh yeah, bring a friend which will make the experience even more fun. You may end up performing a dance at one of our shows with her; and of course, you'll make NEW friends!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Danzarts is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve Mexico & Spain's heritage by raising cultural awareness. We LOVE the RICH traditions and are motivated to "train up" the next generation of cultural arts bearers of both genres of dance while having FUN making memories sharing it!
What do you love most about your job?
We LOVE seeing all our new peeps, especially shy ones blossom into self-disciplined, awesome students and performers with solid self esteem because they are proud of themselves in mastering the technical parts of well loved dance traditions that tell rich stories of our San Diego Hispanic roots.
