- $12 for three Groupons, each good for $8 worth of hot chocolate and other cafe menu items per visit ($24 value)
Just because the average low temperature in Anaheim only hits 47 degrees doesn't mean there isn't a desire for good ole' fashioned cups of hot chocolate. Dark180 fills that craving, serving up the traditionally wintry drink all year long. They even add seasonal twists, such as pumpkin flavors in fall, and have a vegan option made with almond milk in the slow, traditional French method. And instead of using powder, syrups or, quick magic, the staffers create drinks by melting actual hunks of honest-to-goodness chocolate into milk or almond milk. Hot chocolate isn't the only star of the show, though—they also serve cold drinks, including a variety of frozen hot chocolates and iced mochas.
Dark180 also stocks confectioneries that include the familiar (sea-salt caramels), the new classics (chocolate-covered bacon), and the adventurous (lemon-pepper truffles). The cafe also hosts tasting events, including one focused on pairing chocolates with cheese.
