More Questions and Answers

Q:

Hello, I'm interested in taking this workshop, and I would like to know if one grupon van be use for two people, I want for both of us to learn but we only have one camera. Thank you.

Milena S.  asked on  Jan 8, 2013

A:

Although 2 people can share one camera in the class, that's still considered 2 students and requires 2 registrations/groupons.

Q:

Do you offer classes for people who own micro 4/3 (Olympus pen) or 35 mm SLR (Pentax K1000)?

Kimberly O.  asked on  Jan 5, 2013

A:

I don't have any classes that are specific to a particular brand or style of camera, but only this one that covers the basics of camera settings such as Aperture, Shutter and ISO. Much of the content applies to "most" camera, but it really is aimed at "traditional" Digital SLR cameras.

A:

This is a basic workshop for people who want to know how to use all the settings on their camera, with the goal of taking "better" photos.

Q:

This sounds like a very basic workshop. Will you be having any that focus on more advanced techniques? I am primarily looking for: multiple wireless lighting settups using Canon 600 EX's and Quantums, remote camera setups, how to use laser beams to trigger camera (and where to get necessary equipment), time lapse using intervelometer, and other specialty topics that never seem to be addressed in seminars and training classes. I have had fairly good luck with the wireless 600 EX's, but would like to become more familiar with other options and changing settings on the fly remotely,. Thank you.

K B.  asked on  Jan 4, 2013

A:

This is definitely a basic workshop for beginners. Periodically I host other more advanced workshops on topics like off-camera flash, but nothing planned at the moment. Sorry

Q:

Hi, I want to take this workshop....however I can only do it during the day. The one class scheduled during the day (shown on the sellers website), I am out of town. Can you promise me another day class will be scheduled?

beth w.  asked on  Jan 4, 2013

A:

There will be additional dates added to the schedule in March through May, both evenings and some afternoons. I have run this same groupon special before and last time had more that 15 available dates. I keep adding dates until everyone has the opportunity to sign up and attend.
