About Dave's Astanga Yoga
When it comes to practicing yoga, Dave's Astanga has a simple philosophy: "There is no dogma here." This mission statement prepares students for what they will and won't find at the yoga studio. Every class aims at experiential learning that challenges the body, spirit, and mind while strengthening the core and de-stressing guests more effectively than yelling at misbehaving pet goldfish. The studio is owned by Cheryl Oliver, a longtime yogi who is just as dedicated to her students as she is to the teachers. In addition to helming interactive classes, they provide regular Authentic Yoga Teacher Trainings in order to create instructors who embody their philosophy.
