This is an 8-hour course with 2 segments

5 Hour Class, to learn fundamentals (Day 1)

3 Hour Range Time, for Live Fire Session (Day 2)

Range rentals are not included in the voucher and are paid directly to the range:
- Pistol rental is $20
- Ammunition for the range time may be purchased from the range

CURRICULUM DESCRIPTION

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.

Online classes are available on Saturdays, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.

During the online class, the student will schedule the range day; range day is available on Monday or Tuesday (additional days may be possible, depending on the business availability)

As certified USCCA firearms instructors, we are dedicated to helping you become a safe, responsible gun owner. Michigan law requires CPL applicants to take a pistol safety training course, that must be at least 5 hours of classroom training, and 3 hours of instruction at a range. Once the above requirements have been completed, you will receive a Certificate of Completion
