What You'll Get
Before cameras, the only way to preserve perfect family tableaus was on the canvas of a master portrait artist or on the adhesive of a massive piece of flypaper. Lock in flitting memoires with today’s Groupon: for $99, you get a professional photo-shoot package from David Simm Photography (a $1,070 value). The package includes:
- A 90-minute shoot at a location of your choice.
- One 11”x14” portrait.
- Two 8”x10” mounted portraits.
- Four 5”x7” prints.
- Two high-resolution, fully retouched photo files on a CD or thumb drive.<p>
Photographer David Simm’s decades of experience bring family portraits into focus in the comfort of homes or client-chosen locales. Troupes of relatives, one pet, and no more than three specters gather for 90-minute sessions in front of Mr. Simm’s portable studio equipment. The digital shutter snaps and snips tidbits of life into bits of data, which return to the photographer’s secret laboratory for retouching and editing. After smiles have been remastered, clients pick favorite images to immortalize in print form.
Two high-resolution files live forever on a CD or thumb drive, allowing patrons to easily print enough copies to wallpaper the foyer. Extra pets may be included at a charge of $20 per additional animal, preventing snubbing from disrupting canine hierarchies.
