Q:

HI, My husband asked me to look into this deal. Our son is going to be visiting for one week in November before he is shipped to Germany with the Air Force. He will be in town the week of the 8th. Since you are not opening your appt book before the 7th of November, I am wondering if this could work in my favor or not. Another concern would be the area you travel within for on site shoots. We live just over the border from STL in Illinois but would be happy to travel to say..Forest Park for a shoot ( is this area in your travel range?) Any advise or guidance you can give would be great =). Good day, Melissa

A:

Melissa, Thanks for the question. Tough question to answer in this forum, lengthy and lots of assumptions. Please call the office on Monday and we can discuss your situation. David

Q:

I saw a question similar to mine...but here is my question. I am pregnant and due April 8th, 2013, approximately 158 days from now :) And I would like to have the family pictures done of the new baby and a family shot. However, babies come on their own schedule so....how difficult would it be to book an appointment with short notice of the baby's birth? Say within a week or so? And with the expiration date....I would have a about 20 days left to fulfill the appointment. Thanks!

Elli M.  asked on  Nov 2, 2012

A:

Elli, thanks for your question. We do have special arrangements we make for expecting parents as we know the actual delivery date is beyond your control. Please call me to discuss so we may plan accordingly. Thank you, David. 314-892-3922.

Q:

Hi- Can you tell me if the photos are edited at all. Black/white, sepia ??? If so is there an extra charge for this?

dina z.  asked on  Nov 1, 2012

A:

Dina, thank you for your question. Editing and touch ups cover a wide variety of subject matter and my best answer is that we may do very simple touch-ups. For example, one small facial blemish on the chin, however overall touching up such as full facial air brushing, multiple blemishes, wrinkle removal, opening eyes, etc. is not included, but available for a fee on a per image basis. As for editing, we do edit as and if needed for color correctness, exposure variances, cropping and such, as standard. Detailed editing would be extra, e.g., spot coloring, etc. would be extra. No charge for B/W and our online system accommodates this with a click of a button, sepia and others are an extra charge on a per image basis. Please call me if you would like to discuss further or if I had not sufficiently answered your question. Thank you, David.

Q:

David, We will only be in St. Louis until March. Is it possible to guarantee a time slot before that? Thanks.

Glorianne O.  asked on  Nov 1, 2012

A:

Glorianne, Thanks for your question. We are not able to "guarantee" a session before you would have to leave town, but I am confident that we would be able to find a mutually convenient date/time to schedule a session.

Q:

Do you have the proper equipment to take photos on location that are indoors with possible low-light conditions?

Gina M.  asked on  Nov 1, 2012

A:

Gina, thanks for your question. However, your questions lead to many more questions, and probably best answered directly if you could call the office and speak with me on this, I am confident we can answer your question. Thank you, David.

Q:

If I am interested in using the photo for business use (i.e. LinkedIn, Business website), is there an extra fee I could pay to allow that?

Shelley  asked on  Nov 1, 2012

A:

Shelley, unfortunately with this Groupon offer business use as you described is not permitted, and according to my agreement with Groupon we do not offer an upgrade to this offer. We do however offer business HeadShot sessions at an attractive rate, fully edited to meet your needs and the market in which you would use these commercial images. Please call me at the office to discuss and perhaps schedule your session. Thank you, David.

Q:

In regards to the copyright release, it appears we can use these images for personal use to get prints printed. Am I able to save one of the images from the c.d. Onto my computer to make Christmas cards?

Rebecca J.  asked on  Nov 1, 2012

A:

Rebecca, yes you are able to use the images to print Holiday cards as this would be deemed personal use. Please note that we do offer a variety of Holiday Card designs via our shopping cart that would be available to you once your gallery is posted on line to make your selections and ordering. Thanks, David.

Deidre R.  asked on  Nov 1, 2012

Q:

Is there an option to purchase a groupon for an extended family photoshoot? I'd love to have a session with my extended family while everyone is here for the holidays. Would that be extra? How much? Also, do you have any examples in your portfolio of outdoor casual family photoshoots? I only see studio portraits on your website.

Beverly L.  asked on  Nov 1, 2012

A:

Beverly, please call me to discuss this questions regarding extended families sessions and how this would work with this offer. There are a few samples of outdoor session in our portfolio of images under Portraits, etc. Thank you.
