Very clean and quiet facility. My massage therapist Maria was very good at what she does she was able to pick up on what I did for her living right away based on some of my knots lol. I'll definitely go back

Great experience. Massage was heaven. Nice people. Clean place. A tiny bit difficult to understand their English. Regular prices are pretty standard. Massage felt so good. Mike was massage therapist.

*PART 2* My friend purchased a Groupon massage voucher as a gift for me. I was very excited about this as it was my first time to have a professional massage experience. We arrived early for our Noon appt, and we were the only clients there. We didn't see their State of NV business license posted and we were told we did not need to fill out the massage medical questionnaire. My friend, started her massage and I was told that my massage therapist, a 3rd party Massage Envy contractor was running late and had not arrived, yet. So, the owners wife, an older lady, started my massage for me. My massage was interrupted approximately 20 minutes later, by the Massage Envy contractor, who entered the room and after a few minutes of getting organized, took over while I lay face down on the table and couldnt see what was going on. I was getting cold and I started feeling like I was going to have an anxiety attack. This was my first experience as I noted above and didnt want to ruin anything, especially knowing my friend had treated me to this gift, so I tried to calm myself down. Several times during my massage, different people kept walking in & out of my room. This was very strange. Also...the therapist kept talking to me during my massage with engaging questions like, where I was from, how long had I been in Vegas, what my career profession was, etc. I found this type of conversation to be intrusive, burdensome and very distracting. This spa does not have secure closed rooms, so anyone being massaged in the next room, could hear her talking to me. This was very disturbing to me and others. The remainder of my massage was awful. No music, lots of noise stemming from an office area, and it had NOT been communicated to my massage therapist, that my "spa package" was to include a Scrub, Shower, and Hot Stones. So, therefore, I did NOT receive any of the additional "add ons" that had been paid for in my gift spa package, from my friend. All in all, it was an absolute TERRIBLE experience for my first time. I will most certainly never visit the Golden Thai Spa Massage, again and I do not feel good or comfortable about recommending this "spa" to any of my friends & business acquaintances. ~Zero Stars.

Part 1: My experience. Purchased (2) Groupons for this place that included: 1 hour massage, sugar scrub, rose oil, hot stones w/ table shower "packages". One for myself and one as a gift for my bestie. My friend and I, arrived 15 minutes early. We were met at the counter, by an older asian male, identified as the owner. I immediately noticed that the establishment did NOT have its State of Nevada Massage certificates or Business licenses posted in plain view. We saw the pre massage "medical evaluation" forms on the counter and when we asked if we needed to fill the forms out, we were told by the owner that it wasn't necessary. We also noticed the rooms were all "open air" with no ceilings, and there was no soothing music playing in the background, and we could hear the busy parking lot noise. We were the only clients there so it should have been very peaceful, however someone was in the back office, also open air, running a copier/fax machine and they were continually yelling to the owner up front, (This went on for the first 20 minutes of my masage) The owner, ended up doing my massage and 5 minutes into my massage, it was clear that he had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He did not massage my hands, arms or feet. He rubbed my back with the sugar scrub and left the scrub on my back, while he proceeded to use hot stones OVER the scrub and this severely hurt me and left my back raw with microscopic abrasions. He stopped 47 minutes into the 1 hour Massage and indicated that he was finished. He told me that showers were FREE with my package and if I wanted one, they were located at the end of the dark hall. I was not offered a robe or a towel, and he immediately left the room, leaving me to try & figure out how I was supposed to navigate my way to the showers. The sign on the front door says Table Showers. But, that is not true. I got dressed with the oily sugar scrub still on my back/neck, and I went to wait in my car, for my friend who was wrapping up her massage. **Her experience was worse than mine and it will be listed as Part 2.**

Massage was okay. Mostly just back and neck. Definitely not a full body Swedish type massage. Had to go back after arriving at first appt and they did not have anyone who could do a massage that isn’t deep tissue. Second appt they did have someone there - but it was clear she was just going through motions. I had purchased the largest option, with all the extras - but I got none of the add-ons
