About Islander Kiteboarding

International Kiteboarding Organization– and Professional Air Sports Association–certified instructor, Christian Cooper and his partner preside over Islander Kiteboarding and share the thrill of skimming the waves with students during classes that impart both basic skills and advanced techniques for persuading kites to sweep boarders to the nearest sunken pirate ship. The lessons take advantage of the weather and glut of great kiteboarding locations in the Corpus Christi area, which were what drew Christian to the spot in the first place.
