Q:

Hello, I'm just wondering if the Ray Ban sunglasses is one model in particular, or is there a selection that we may choose from? Thank you for the clarification

Jane  asked on  Aug 16, 2012

A:

I just checked our online inventory and there are currently 228 different Ray Ban styles.

Q:

I require a toric lense in one eye. Does the 6 months of contact lenses include toric lenses or just reglar lenses?

Dawn B.  asked on  Aug 16, 2012

A:

If you do need to upgrade to a Toric, you will only pay the difference if there is one, if you are familiar with our prices, you'd find this is likely to be quite nominal.

38 D.  from  Merchant  replied on  Aug 16, 2012

A:

Hi Dawn B., Today's promotion is for Silicone Hydrogel contacts (lens that you can sleep in for one month) but only in spherical not Toric.

Q:

Hello, Does the deal cover just the frames or are perscription lenses included?

Caroline B.  asked on  Aug 16, 2012

A:

Hi Caroline: This deal has two options, the $65 Groupon allows for $200 off any complete glasses in the store, and six months of contact lenses AND a Doctor's eye exam. Yes, that includes prescription lenses of your choice. The second $99 Groupon Deal is for a complete Doctor's eye exam (an $89.95 value) and a complete set of Ray Ban non prescription Sun Glasses, or Ray Ban eyeglasses with clear prescription single vision lenses.

Q:

How does the $200 worth of glasses item work in the $65 package? Is it only available for eyeglasses or can sunglasses be purchased

Ryan M.  asked on  Aug 16, 2012

A:

Hi Ryan M. The $65 Groupon deal is for $200 off ANY complete (meaning frame & lenses) Prescription eye glasses or prescription sunglasses in store. The $99.00 includes just the eye exam and FREE non-prescription Ray Ban sunglasses.

38 D.  from  Merchant  replied on  Aug 16, 2012

Q:

1) Is there a limit to the value of the non-Rx Ray Ban sunglasses for the $99 Groupon? 2) If the non-Rx Ray Ban sunglasses I want are not available in store, but available in the online inventory, can they be ordered?

Jeff C.  asked on  Aug 18, 2012

A:

The only limit is the limit of Ray Bans at the location you attended.

Q:

Are you able to use the $65 deal towards a pair of nonprescription sunglasses?

 asked on  Aug 18, 2012

A:

Choice 1 (the $65 offer is for those who wish to purchase prescription eye wear) Choice 2 (the $99 dollar promotion) is if you wish to purchase non-prescription Ray Ban Sun glasses.

Q:

Hi, I am interested in purchasing the $99 coupon for the Ray Ban sunglasses. If a location doesn't have the pair that I want can I use the coupon to order the pair of sunglasses that I want. Or does this coupon only work for Ray Ban sunglasses that you currently have in stock.

Warren W.  asked on  Aug 22, 2012

A:

It's only for what's in stock (but that is constantly refreshed)

More Questions and Answers

Q:

Hi! Just a couple of questions. I want to buy this deal for my parents and they are wondering who would be administering the eye exam, would it be an optometrist, or a tech? Also, since the $99 deal is limited to what Ray Bans you currently have in stock, if I happen to see a pair in store that I like one day, about how quickly could I make an appointment? For example, are you usually able to make appointments a couple days in advance or are several weeks notice needed? Thanks!

Tam P.  asked on  Aug 22, 2012

A:

Hi Tam P. No problem, as our name implies, "Image Optometry" so it's always a Board Certified Licensed Doctor of Optometry. You can make an appointment immediately, just go to www.Image.ca to book online! Depending on the clinic can get you in today or tomorrow. If you wish you can email me directly at Questions@image.ca - I can help you navigate.

Q:

thanks, so the $99 deal wont get Ray Ban prescrip eyeglasses? As that is what I'm interested in. The deal on the groupon page states: "$99 for a complete eye exam (an $89.95 value) and a complete set of Ray Ban eyeglasses or sunglasses (up to a $349.95 value, a total $439.90 value)" ...so that is why I thought we could get complete Ray Ban eyeglasses if we are not interested in the sunglasses. thanks

M K.  asked on  Aug 22, 2012

A:

You can get a pair of Ray Ban prescription eyeglasses, but number 1) they are limited to the Ray Ban frames that will accommodate ophthalmic lenses, and 2) they only come with very basic single vision prescription lenses and coatings. This is why the $200 off deal allows you much more freedom of choice and very probably less money out of your pocket.

38 D.  from  Merchant  replied on  Aug 22, 2012

Q:

Does the $99 deal include the choice between RayBan prescription complete eyeglasses OR Ray Ban sunglasses? The groupon deal says complete Ray Ban eye glasses can be purchased, but some of the answers from the Merchant here state that the $99 deal will get nonprescription Ray Ban sunglasses only. Just want to make sure before I buy! thanks

M K.  asked on  Aug 22, 2012

A:

The $99 package was intended for people with out a prescription, the #65 Groupon for those with Prescriptions.

Hello, perhaps this question has been asked before but I want to clarify that for the $99 deal, I can select any Ray Ban sunglasses available as long as the price is under $349.95? Thank you.

Yu Chieh C.  asked on  Aug 20, 2012

A:

If it's on the shelf, it's available.

Q:

I just phoned hastings and they said that the $65, $200 discount doesn't cover perscription sunglasses. Is this true? Can you please clarify so I know which one to buy? I wanted to buy polorized perscription ray-bans and just pay the extra. Thanks!

Marshall M.  asked on  Aug 20, 2012

A:

Hi Marshall, Apparently Dale at Hastings was confused, yes you are correct. The $65 deal is for people that want prescription glasses or sunglasses, the $99 deal is for those that want non-prescription sunglasses. So... buy the $65 Groupon. I called Dale and enlightened him.

38 D.  from  Merchant  replied on  Aug 20, 2012

Q:

Hi, do all the items mentioned in the $65 coupon have to be used at the same time? For example, can I get an eye exam and glasses immediately and wait to get the contact lenses in a few months?

Jaspinder D.  asked on  Aug 19, 2012

A:

Hi Jaspinder, All must be fulfilled at time of redemption.
