Be a bit more clear on what the final product that will be made in the class. Judge the time better so that we can actually take home the final product.

Thanks for great time!

$99 for a Four-Hour Glassworking Class ($199 Value)

Students can choose between Flameworking 101 or Beginning Beadmaking classes, during which they craft works of art by using table-mounted torches. They create their own glass sculptures in Flameworking 101 and learn glassworking basics, such as sculpting and welding, working with tools, lampworking materials, and the properties of glass. In Beginning Beadmaking, students make between 4 and 10 colorful beads as they learn about soft glass, bead shaping, surface decoration, and annealing. Items are left to cool in the studio overnight and can be retrieved the following day.

About Glasscraft

Homer Hoyt founded the glass-arts school Glasscraft in 1970, the same year he penned the book Glassblowing: An Introduction to Solid and Blown Glass Sculpturing. Both creations have aged well: his book remains in print, and his school, staffed by qualified instructors who teach the intricate art of molding glass, continues to thrive. Inside safe, clean studios, students learn to decorate the surface of beads with swirls of color and create sculptures with solid insides perfect for concealing genies from jealous family members. Guest artists often visit the school to lead workshops centered around their specialization.
