About DC Design House
In 2008, Skip and Debbie Singleton established DC Design House as a way to showcase the work of local interior designers while raising funds for the Children’s National Health System. Every year, the nonprofit selects dozens of top designers to show off their talents by making over a different home in the area. The 2016 DC Design House at 2509 Foxhall Road NW in Washington, DC is a five-story, 11,242 square-foot home with seven bedrooms, eight full baths, five fireplaces, elevator, infinity pool, and more. Built in 2010 by Gibson Builders and designed by GTM Architects, the $10.8 million home was most recently used as a temporary residence for the French Ambassador.
