Q:

Love the idea of the course, but dont like beer.. Have you got cocktails?

Loralee V.  asked on  Feb 3, 2012

A:

Woodinville is home to nearly 120 wineries, 1 brewery, 3 distilleries, and a dozen outstanding restaurants. The Soft Tails Spirits tasting room is like a 5 minute walk from us. And at the 2 minute walk range, you've got the fireside cellar at Willows Lodge and the Barking Frog across the street. I'm sure there is something close that will appeal to you.

Q:

Really? Ropes challenge course and beer? SWEET !! Put me up coach, I'm ready to drink beer and swing around on a ropes challenge course.

Cindy M.  asked on  Feb 3, 2012

A:

The order of the events in that equation are important! Climb on course first, monkey around, come back down to the ground, THEN commence the bro͞oskēfestivities. We can't wait to see you out on the course Cindy.

Q:

Could you in more detail describe the courses - what exactly would one be doing. I see the pic of the ropes course .. is there more to that? How long are the sections of the zip line? What is the climbing course? Am anxious to convince some of my senior pals to do this!! Is more stamina or more nerve needed?

fran c.  asked on  Feb 2, 2012

A:

The best place to see images of the course is: https://adventura.co/see/ The Weekend Playdays are an opportunity to climb up into the challenge course and explore. The event starts off with safety school on the ground followed by climbing up the 50 foot cargo net to the main entrance deck. From here participants can head off in any direction they choose and explore a wide variety of elements. Elements involve keeping your balance whilst trying to cross from one deck to another deck. Some elements are very physical, while other elements are less so. The ziplines are in the "beginner" category as far as ziplines go. There are two: one is up at height in the middle of the course and allows for back and forth action. The other zipline is an exit off the course. Neither of these ziplines compare to the 3,000 foot ziplines found in the wilds of costa rica or kuala lumpur. (but we love them anyway) The challenge course is a climbing facility. It is physical. If you can climb a ladder, you'll be ok. But we want you to know that you will get a workout up on the course.

Q:

hi, i have an 8 year old who's not quite 70 lbs (more like 65). could he do the course? thanks

Olga M.  asked on  Feb 2, 2012

A:

He will be fine. We do ask that young climbers climb with an adult to help with tall or long reach points.
